DJAI follows the ethical principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors' Responsibilities

Authors must:

  • Submit original work.
  • Avoid plagiarism.
  • Properly cite previous work.
  • Accurately report research findings.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest.
  • Identify funding sources.
  • Ensure authorship reflects actual contributions.
  • Correct significant errors after publication.

Reviewers' Responsibilities

Reviewers should:

  • Conduct objective reviews.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Declare conflicts of interest.
  • Provide constructive comments.
  • Identify uncited relevant literature.
  • Report suspected ethical misconduct.

Editors' Responsibilities

Editors shall:

  • Make publication decisions based solely on academic merit.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Ensure fairness.
  • Prevent conflicts of interest.
  • Address allegations of misconduct.
  • Retract or correct published articles when necessary.

Publisher Responsibilities

The publisher is committed to:

  • Editorial independence
  • Ethical publishing
  • Long-term archiving
  • Transparency
  • Integrity of the scholarly record

Plagiarism Policy

All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software.

Similarity Index:

  • Below 20 % is preferred.
  • Individual source similarity should normally not exceed 3%.

Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, or manipulated images will be rejected.

Research Misconduct

Research misconduct includes:

The journal reserves the right to reject or retract affected articles.

Conflicts of Interest

Artificial Intelligence Policy

Authors may use AI-assisted tools only to improve language or readability. AI tools must not be listed as authors because they cannot take responsibility for the work.

Any substantial use of AI in writing, data analysis, image generation, or coding should be disclosed in the manuscript. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of all submitted content.
